Here’s a good deed! Estate agent, Dan Barnett saved a 96 year old elderly lady as she clung onto a lamp post during last February’s Storm Doris. The storm which battered Britain with 60mph winds meant the lady had to stay put before Dan noticed her at the top of the High Street from his agent’s office. Dan had seen 3 people walk past without helping her before he decided to assist. He then persisted to walk the lady to her cottage five minutes down the road.

The terrific act was filmed by his colleague Jodie Lynch, so his kindness could be remembered. The following day the lady visited Dan at his estate agents, HML Shaw to reward him with a box of chocolates. Since February, Dan has been congratulated for his amazing behavior by several businesses on Twitter including Mathew Gurr from Move Revolution Estate Agents, Website Designers Starberry, Business Coach Sanjiv Dodhia and The Surrey Spirit, a Twitter account dedicated to news in the Surrey area.
