The property industry’s rising stars have been commended for their contributions to charity at the annual LandAid Ambassador’s Awards. The event was held at London’s “Walkie Talkie” building and was set up to recognise the outstanding achievements and generosity of property professionals across the UK.
The awards given out included “Best Fundraiser” of which first prize was awarded to Emma Murray from Palmer Capital for organising a series of cycling, abseiling and poker events which raised a total of £30,000. The “Increasing Awareness” award was awarded to Victoria Prew from Knight Frank, an annual Ski-Trip Propski was awarded “Best Collaboration” prize. Outstanding Ambassador was awarded to Richard Trubshaw of Paragon Building Consultancy for climbing Lake District’s 24 peaks carrying 24kg of sand.
LandAid are a charity set up to tackle homelessness by bringing the property industry together. Set up in 2004, LandAid’s Ambassador Scheme has recruited and trained 260 property professionals, from 100 companies in 6 cities.
