Millions of people in the property industry have been getting together in support for MP Jo Cox after her murder one year ago. We’ve highlighted as many landlords, letting & estate agents and industry provider’s as we can, who’ve been supporting the Great Get Together campaign in remembrance of Jo.
The team at Daniels Estate Agents in London have sponsored the Great Get Together event at Gladstone Park. The event brought the friends of Gladstone Park and Cricklewood Library together last Sunday 18th June. Daniels will be supporting the event to make sure its the best possible. The event will give families a chance to have a picnic, try out new sports such as tug of war and egg and spoon races whilst find out about the local wildlife!
The Housing Group helped put on a community afternoon in support of the Great Get Together. They invited the local community to take part in a series of family games, whilst face painting, a cake stall and food was also provided. As well as supporting this event, Great Places Housing Group also assisted in organising the “Gorgeous Gorse Hill Garden Party”. Once again a series of events were put on whilst the community was given a chance to see the flowers and vegetables planted on Gorse Hill.
Michelle Gregory, Director of property industry provider’s Home North attended a Great Get Together event herself. Michelle tweeted about her meet up saying she joined a few of her close community to meet up, chat, eat food and count their blessings.
Winckworth Sherwood held their own Great Get Together at their offices during lunchtime. They invited the whole firm to get together in support of Jo’s anniversary. Food was available, whilst colleagues had a chance to play chess, ping pong, snakes and ladders and Jenga!
