An Edinburgh property expert has pledged to give something back to his community by setting up his own estate agency. Mark Cullerton has launched Cullerton’s Estate Agents & Property Consultants in the Stockbridge area of Edinburgh. Cullerton has previously founded McEwan Fraser Legal, one of the leading solicitors and estates agents across Scotland.
Every month, he’s pledged to give a portion of the fees made to charity. The agent has teamed up with six charities across the local area including the Craig Gowans Memorial Fund via The Sick Kids Friends Foundation, a charity set up in 2007 in memory of Craig Gowans who died after a tragic training ground incident with Falkirk Football Club. Other charities the agency is proposing to donate to include CHAS (Children’s Hospice Association Scotland), a charity set up to provide vital hospice services for young people and children with life-shortening conditions, Alzheimer Scotland, the leading dementia organisation in Scotland, the Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home, St Columba’s Hospice and Shelter Scotland. After each property sale, the agent will give their clients a choice of charity they would like their fees to go towards. The new agency will be located in Faubert Art Gallery in St Stephen Street.
