Mark Gower, Director at Meyers Estate Agents has run a half marathon! Mark was running for dementia support charity, Dementia UK. Mark’s Dad spent most of his time caring for his mum but sadly his Dad recently passed away after spending most of the last years of his life doing the best he could for his mum. Mark felt he needed to pay his respects for his dad by doing something amazing in the community, like running a half marathon for charity. Mark’s half marathon was no ordinary run though. Mark ran the 14.6 mile run across woodland, cliff tops and sand dunes, making it an even harder challenge. Throughout his challenge the team at Meyers Estate Agents have continued to support him.

Mark went on to comment “Sadly my mum is very unwell. Her suffering from this debilitating disease is very sad and destructive for her, I just felt I needed to do something. I feel very humbled by all the support and generous donations people have made, if we make one person’s life a little easier, that would be amazing, at Meyers we have always been very proud to give back to our community whenever we can and we will continue to do so”. Mark established Meyers in 2011 and has been providing estate agency services across Dorset for over 7 years. Launched by Mark himself, the company is always looking to grow and continue to stand out among the competition. Good Property News would like to congratulate Mark for such an incredible achievement and for his amazing fundraising for Dementia UK!
