Homeless charity, P3, has teamed up with the City of Lincoln Council to encourage landlords to house the homeless this Christmas. The charity can help landlords offer pre-determined lease arrangements to house homeless people in the Lincoln region, whilst the council has volunteered its support by providing available accommodation. The campaign itself is being run under the city council’s ACTion Lincs programme. The programme aims to provide assistance to the local community whether they are homeless, unemployed or a community offender.
P3 will be leading the homeless campaign in the project alongside eight local authorities, including Addaction, a drug and alcohol support charity and the Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Homeless charity, P3, mainly hopes to improve the lives of the local community by delivering services for socially excluded and vulnerable people. They believe that every person has the opportunity to be a full and valued member of society. The homeless project is just one example of their incredible work in the community alongside Lincoln Council.
Help us to find them and help them … before the cold weather takes care of them.
