Bewley Homes have raised an incredible £24,691 for Sebastian’s Action Trust after organising a charity fundraising golf day. The funds raised were presented in cheque form earlier this week to the charity. Managing Director, Andrew Brooks, Commercial Director, Simon Taphouse and CEO, Jane Gates OBE all attended the event to present their donation to the charity.
Back in June, the team at Bewley organised an amazing charity fundraising golf day. The golf day featured 37 teams competing over 18 holes followed by a gala dinner featuring a raffle and charity auction of which 190 people attended. Prizes at the auction included a meal at the two Michelin starred Hand and Flowers restaurant in Marlow, Mercedes Formula One merchandise signed by Lewis Hamilton, holidays in Salcombe, a visit to the Shard as well as a Champneys paper break.
Sebastian’s Action Trust was created with one aim, to provide families with extremely-ill children with respite holidays. As well as this, the charity has built a house called “The Bluebells” whilst they continue to give practical, social and emotional support to families with extremely-ill children.
