Over 100 estate agents and suppliers have canoed down the River Wye to raise money for the Huntington’s Disease Association. Estate Agent, Dominic Subbiani who runs agency, FBM was diagnosed with Huntington’s Disease two years ago and has since encouraged agents across the UK to take part in several fundraising events, the canoe challenge being one of them.

Agents and suppliers canoeing included Suzanna Mavity of Acaboom, Richard Tucker of Relocation Agent Network, Thomas Morris Estate Agents, Northfields Estates, Dawsons Property, Roberts Estate Agents, Drivers & Norris, Butler & Stag and Sarah Mains. The incredible 26 mile canoe down the river took place across two days on September 4th and 5th. The challenge started in the village of Hoarwithy before the agents stopped overnight in a tipi on a secluded riverside location. The second day saw them take on the rapids within the river before arriving at their 26 mile destination. Good Property News would like to say congratulations to everyone who took part!

This was the second time the agents have took part in a fundraising event for the charity. Last year, the Do It For Dom team raised £65,000 climbing Snowdonia and hope to raise another £45,000. If you’d like to donate, please click here.
